Give yourself grace and cling to the savior. I was struck as I read this post by the fact that you actually DO all of that. Staying on top of Brayden's medical visits and claims and diagnosis. I know many moms would not be organized enough to take on that task. They just wouldn't and it would have to fall to the dad or someone with less personal interest in getting everything right. So I was struck by how before God gave you Brayden, He also gifted you with skills you would need in mothering him. He saw your need before you ever knew you would have one. You are so beautiful Carrie! Be encouraged by the one who made you and made Brayden for you. Thank you for sharing so honestly in your journey. A journey that brings glory to the Father.Meganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09576557666945171982noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2395370242575951913.post-22330375507178251072011-09-08T18:44:54.385-04:002011-09-08T18:44:54.385-04:00Surrender is definitely easier said than done! Reading this post makes me think of a favorite verse: Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. (Eph 3:20-21) Praying that God will meet your needs as only He can!Wherever HE Leads We'll Gohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15042627234253638468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2395370242575951913.post-69752634268046314822011-09-08T18:08:19.610-04:002011-09-08T18:08:19.610-04:00Big Hugs!!!Big Hugs!!!The VW'shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05116325494368190699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2395370242575951913.post-73345481621161790282011-09-08T14:34:35.999-04:002011-09-08T14:34:35.999-04:00hi there - i wanted to send you the link to this b...hi there - i wanted to send you the link to this book. i am actually fortunate and see the author as my therapist. she is wonderfully in tune with what it's like to go through all of the stressors you talk about in your post. i have thumbed through the book and it's helpful. just thought i'd share.

http://www.marriedwithspecialchildren.com/married_with_specialneed.htmlLeahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04156443200479308016noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2395370242575951913.post-86331898046559566982011-09-07T21:33:27.238-04:002011-09-07T21:33:27.238-04:00I'm sorry, my heart aches for you and I pray t...I'm sorry, my heart aches for you and I pray that God will rejuvenate and strengthen you and give you some time of rest.Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12551714422944488252noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2395370242575951913.post-43390858694997109932011-09-07T17:23:39.262-04:002011-09-07T17:23:39.262-04:00I know what you are feeling. How do you surrender in circumstances like that? I know God IS there, but practical help is often what we need at times like this. You are only human! Be kind to yourself... some seasons are just too hard and we fall apart sometimes. I will pray that God sends help and relief fast - times of refreshing. xxViviannehttp://10here10there.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.com
